It’s been four months since South African rapper Blaklez’s mother passed away. Earlier today the rapper decided to release an emotional single in honour of his mother titled “Life”.

The track touches on his mother’s passing as well as the everyday struggles he is going through.

Before he became a renowned rapper Jay Z was a drug dealer. The rapper has never hidden this but he hasn’t spoken much on it in interviews either, all that has changed though in his latest feature in Vanity Fair magazine.

In the intimate interview Jigga tells Vanity Fair magazine, “I know about budgets. I was a drug dealer. To be in a drug deal, you need to know what you can spend, what you need to re-up.”

2Chainz fires bodyguard after robber

Earlier this year 2Chainz was robbed at gunpoint by unknown assailants. At the time of the robbery 2Chainz was rolling with his crew and his bodyguard but still managed to get robbed. Now in a recent interview with Vlad TV, 2Chainz has revealed that after the incident he decided to replace his bodyguard because of how he handled the situation (he also ran when 2Chainz started running).

General Pype welcomes a New Baby Boy

Dance hall artiste Ibrahim Majekodunmi better known as General Pype has welcomed his first child with his American girlfriend. Already christened Xavier, Pype’s baby boy was born on October 1, 2013. It is believed the child was delivered in a US hospital although NET could not confirm as at the time of this report. ‘Thank You Baba Loke! I am now a DAD Toh skibborious‘, General Pype joyfully announced on Twitter.
